Carlos Tevez wants glory for Juventus , Says Agent
The last of Juve's two European titles came in 1996 and, having not
reached the final since 2003, they are keen to become a force in the
competition once again.
Tevez has a winner and runner-up medal from his time at Manchester
United, but his two Champions League campaigns with Manchester City
ended at the group stage.
However, Joorabchian has told Sky Sport Italia that his client has
set his sights on more glory at home and abroad for the Italian club.
"Juventus are a big club and I hope this season they could have the possibility to win everything," Joorabchian declared.
"Champions League? I hope so and also Carlitos hopes it, too. At
Juventus he will become an important player and an idol for supporters."
With Tevez having taken the number 10 shirt previously graced by Juve
greats Alessandro Del Piero, Michel Platini and Roberto Baggio,
Joorabchian is confident that the striker will be spoken of in the same
breath by the club's supporters.
"The number 10 jersey? It's a really big satisfaction for him," he
said. "I think it is important, because Carlitos has always been a big
player. He likes big challenges and this is surely another one."
