Kanu Nwankwo is a year older yeaterday August 1. He plans to celebrate it on Monday August 5th with kids from his foundation. Happy birthday Mr Nwankwo, long life and prosperity.

Luca Toni thinks that the treatment of Stevan Jovetic by Fiorentina fans will see him leave this summer. The Montenegrin front-man is wanted by Arsenal, Manchester City and Juventus - but he has insisted he is looking at finishing the season with Fiorentina before deciding his future. But Jovetic has struggled for form in recent weeks and has not scored since the end of March - which has led to some criticism on the terraces. Super Eagles midfielder, John Mikel Obi, has confessed that he had wished he played for retiring Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson. Recall Mikel was a subject of a transfer tussle between Chelsea and Man United after the Red Devils announced that it had struck a deal with the Norwegian club Lyn Oslo to sign the player.
